Michelle Obama Recognizes AmericanView Video
Healthy eating and adequate physical activity enhances our ability to enjoy life to the fullest by improving both mental and physical wellness. First Lady Michelle Obama challenged communities to show how they can help stop obesity using video to tell their stories. Communities across the country responded enthusiastically to the challenge, submitting videos that represented a broad range of programs.
American View Productions’ entry for the Hispanic Health Council (HHC) of Hartford was chosen among other winners to be shown at the White House with HHC officials in attendance. The nationwide “Lets Move” video contest helped community leaders share their stories about their efforts to promotes wellness and solve the problem of childhood obesity.
First Lady Michelle Obama recognized all the videos produced stating, “With lots of creativity and a great sense of fun, these congregations and organizations have shown us the inspiring work being done across the country to help our children lead healthier lives.”
